Dialogue on EEO
Interactive and customizable, join a virtual team of fellow employees to better understand and apply federal and state laws and organizational guidelines related to Title VII. Dialogue on EEO was developed and released in October, 2004. The course was originally commissioned by the University of Texas - MD Anderson Cancer Center and was designed to exceed Texas' requirement for biennial workplace discrimination prevention training for all state employees. With nearly 15,000 employees, MD Anderson is the largest cancer research organization in the world.Objectives:
- Understand the objectives of workplace harassment and discrimination.
- Recognize federal and state laws related to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
- Become familiar with the Institution's policies related to EEO
- Recognize types of behavior and conduct that would be considered inappropriate in the workplace
- Understand the Institution's EEO complaint and review process

Explore the Equal Employment Opportunity laws that require every workplace to be free of harassment and discrimination-a place where everyone, you included-has a chance to be appreciated, respected, and productive.These laws also require employers to use only job-related factors to determine if someone's qualified for a particular job.

- Identify the main laws that affect equal employment opportunities for employees or job applicants.
